MX COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Section 1
LIMITED ATTENDANCE
MX has worked to provide participants more room to move by limiting enrollment to ensure a quality educational experience.
We will be working closely with each venue to stay within the guidance on capacity. Enrollment will be limited so that participants will be able to maintain 6-feet of separation. Gyms, ballrooms, and other event areas will be at a 50-75% less capacity. Event rooms will be gridded out to give participants a visualization on their range of movement. Our faculty and staff will be working together to format their classes to respect this range. Spectators standing on the side of a ballroom or any instructional space may not be an option.
Dressing room areas could be limited pending the event venue. Teams, studios, and participating organizations are asked to limit the number of parents assisting participants if any.
TEMPERATURE CHECKS
An official representative of The MVMINT Xperience will conduct temperature checks on all MX Staff and MX Resident Artists each day.
We ask all coaches and sponsors to conduct temperature checks on each of their participants each day turning in the appropriate paperwork with the recorded temperature.
Any coach, sponsor, or participant with a temperature of 100.4 or above will not be allowed to attend.
FACE COVERINGS
Face coverings will be required for anyone in any pre-function areas, performance event halls, and all other public spaces. Participants will not be required to wear face coverings while on stage performing.
Participants are required to wear a mask during all instructional classes until further notice.
There will be no deduction in points for performers wearing masks during any mode of competition.
All MX Staff and MX Resident Artists will be required to wear a face covering.
Protective face shields (complete or partial plastic face coverings) may be worn during classes or competition in conjunction with a 3-ply face mask as an added layer of precaution for those choosing to do so. However, face shields do not replace a 3-ply face mask. The CDC does not recommend the use of face shields for normal everyday activities or as a substitute for masks. Face shields alone likely do not reduce the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19.
